Once Bitten.......... Well, day three in French Polynesia, and it would seem that I have been bitten about 10 times, I am assured that they don't have malaria here, but they do have Dhengi Fever, Must remember to look that one up! I actually got out my Mosquito net lastnight, much to the anoyance of the others staying in my Dorm who didnt own one!

I ate chinese food out of the back of a van on the beach front, which is not as dodgy as it sounds. There are about 30 different mobile catering vans, all with menues, tables, tablecloths etc, all different types of foods etc near the Quay, and for about $10 (thats cheap for food here) you can get some of the best chinese food I have ever tasted (Tahiti has a large chinese population). So while I dined, so did the mosquitos DOH!

After that I strolled along the beachfront, took a few snaps of the Christmas lights, sampled the local beer and turned in to the Hostel from Hell for cockroach duty!

I tried to change my flight to Aus, but as it is December everything is pretty booked up now, so I will head over to the beuatiful island of Moorea today, and chill there until the 9th when I fly to Aukland, and then on to Sydney. Cant wait to catch up will all my buddies in Aus.

Not expecting much in the way of Internet in Moorea, so dont worry about the silence, (also it costs about $5 an hour here)
