I Finished!
So as you guessed, I finished all 4 days of the Inca Trail, carrying my own pack, up and down snow capped peaks, through thick jungle terrain, through baking sun, and tropical rain storms, hailstones the size of marbles, and mosquitoes that work double shifts. Still, It was one of the most rewarding and magical experiences of my life! On the final day we awoke at 4am, as is customary, to make the final, and most dangerious treck, in the dark, to watch the sun rise through the sun gate, over Macchu Picchu, A near perfect Inca City, 2000mtrs up in the Andean Jungle. We arrived in a mist that obscured anything but that which was 5ft away, and within 10 minutes, it cleared to breath taking effect, revealing why people have been flocking to this place since it was discovered.

So Hiram Bingham discovered Machu Pichuu in 1911, apparently an elderly American Professor from Yale University, he was wondering about in the jungle asking 15yr old boys if they knew about the secret valley - now call me cynical, but i think his discovery may have more accidental than they would have us believe.
The Inca Flag with added Gay Skull & Crossbones and "Priates of Mens Pantz"(tm) Slogan
Now lets look at the inca flag (encapsulating the colours of the rainbow), the inca flag flies proudly from every bar and hotel in this town - ......thats nice your thinking, well it was untill the international gay community, adopted said flag for their movement, and plastered it on every gay bar around the world - result, Timmid welsh bloke was reluctant to go in any of the bars here......Still someone was kind enough to explain it for me eventually, and my conjecture about the incas dying out because they were all homosexual appears to be unfounded. Could have confused Hiram though?......
